Help! Series2 (7.2.1) reports 132 hours on upgraded 250GB HDD

    I don't know where you got mfstools2.iso, but it likely is not lba48 aware. Did you look at the sticky posts in the forum as I suggested? Look for an iso that specifically says it is lba48 aware.

    You didn't mention what hardware you have, but I'm assume it's an S2 running 7.x (SA) or 6.2 (dtivo). If it is anything else, there might be more work to do.

    I got this from a link at weakness, but I'm inclined to agree with you, as now I see the image is from mid-'03. Do you think there is any hope expanding again since the -x was used in the creation of the disk?

    Doubt it. I'd do the whole thing again.

    Be sure you have the source and destination drives on different ide channels. You should get at least 10MB/sec or 36GB/hour, so it should only take a few hours.
