How do you connect your TiVo?
Direct to TV?
HDMI cable version?
Connect Bolt via receiver that only supports HDMI 2.0. The only thing I am missing is Amazon 4k, which in my opinion not a big deal. Bolt will still output 4k, but I have it set to 1080P so that I can see the receiver overlays on volume.
Roamio to TV via hdmi except when an electrical shock knocks out the hdmi port, then i use their composite adapter and get mad about it until i replace the roamio.
Thanks for your input. Connect as you described and the picture quality in better.
FYI, Bolt only has HDMI. HDCP 2.2 is screwing thing up for me.
Poll is closed but Roamio Pro connected with component for video and optical for audio to an older Onkyo receiver (no HDMI) and then component to 65" Panasonic plasma TV.
I've been thinking about upgrading the receiver but don't really have a reason at this point.
Poll is back open. So far from my research Marantz and Denon 2019 AVRs are handling HDCP 2.2 best.
