    Hello experts,

Can one of the HD directivos work solely for OTA programming? I'm going to be upgrading to HD soon. I currently have comcast digital cable, and because I don't have line of sight for a satellite, I can't put one up in my apartment.

So the problem I'm going to have is that I won't have any tivo for my HD tv. I will probably pickup a series 3 tivo when they finally hit the stores, but in the time until then I would like a tivo OTA solution. So I was wondering if one of the HD directivos can be used for just OTA HD. That way I can use my old Tivos for SD and a directivo for HD.

    Can this be done?

it will only buffer ONE tuner unless it is connnected to a dish and is sub'ed to Directv. In other words NO recording at all.

    So sorry wont work.

Plus the HR10-250 isn't the greatest :) I'd just wait for the Series 3 or the "Comcast/Motorola + Tivo" box.
