Same thing here on the East Coast, just garbage data.
I have the bad MSNBC lineup next week also. But it's normal to have junk for data when the guide is still not fixed. I have selected "My Shows" for the top Discovery bar. But when I have no programs in My Shows, the TiVo will use whatever it finds lying around, even if it's wrong.
My definition of fixed: no TBA at the end. That's a TE4 thing, not TE3. I only hope this is not the new normal.
No new guide data today, neither with the late morning scheduled call-in nor a mid-afternoon forced connection.
MSNBC follow up - data from 9-7 - Central time (Comcast Rolling Meadows system)
5p - Ari Melber new (correct)
6p-8p - RNC old (wrong)
8p - Rachel new (correct)
9p - Last Word new (correct)
10p - RNC old (wrong)
Not sure when the last update was, I'm getting this off Online.
If this were my computer I'd say it was a restore from an old backup ...
yes, but not that unusual for the second week, someone using copy/paste from an old template.
I must be more special than you, then , I've never ever seen this.
I can accept those theories by believing that TE3 and TE4 are on different servers or at least something different. TE4 doesn't have the same old data.
Checking I find The Daily Show is not a repeat on Tuesday with TE4. Monday is a holiday.
Just got the latest guide update round 7:20PM EDT. They finally added tonight's hockey game schedule.
I noticed they fixed the MSNBC data, also.
System Info shows guide data to 9/15, but guide goes out to 8PM EDT on 9/16 with no TBAs.
This is on TE3.
Thx! did manual update, TE3, got a sort-of-OK update too, however several shows on MSNBC still have generic data and don't have "New" flag so won't record. I hate changing to All just because of all the extra recordings. ARRRGH!
7.06pm Pacific time. another manual update, data up to 9/16 MSNBC errors getting better but now different errors, e.g. Morning Joe specified as hour-long segments with only the first hour recording one day, the last hour another day.
At least today's connection furthered guide data to 9-16.
I have until 9/16 1PM CDT on both TE3 & TE4 Roamio
Updated today multiple times, 12 noon Pacific, data half way through 9/16. MSNBC Morning Joe still showing as multiple hours rather than single 3-hour program. Changed OnePass to accommodate Tivo idiocy.
This afternoon's update brought me to 8PM EDT on 9/16, with TBA after that. (So still a day behind, which seems to be the new normal.)
I don't think my One Pass missed any Tour de France stages entirely (Comcast Digital) but the recording of at least one stage seems to have started in the middle of the stage. So it appears the start times are sometimes wrong. Anybody else experience this?
I've also noticed this with F1 races - the recording usually doesn't miss the start of the race but it doesn't seem to start at the beginning of the coverage.
Multiple channels (including FX) have NO DATA for even a week out (9/26.) And we pay for this?! What a joke! Tivo has guaranteed these two Premiere's will be my last, EVER. When they're dead, so is Tivo to me forever. Disgusting.
Noticed that all the episodes of vice news tonight this week have the correct dates in the title but they all say Monday

09 / 26 ALL channels are listed as TBD or No Data... looking at the guide online for TIVO.. it is the same.. Seems they have totally lost all guide data. I read an article they were changing from one Guide service to another.. and they did not have a plan in place to completely do this seemlessly.
I will try the reboot fix and see if that helps... maybe.
You can get a second opinion from tvguide.com which uses data supplied by TiVo. Same with tv.com.
If you are using TE4, the guide has three updates every day at fixed times. With TE3 you receive one update daily about 26 hours apart.
