So why doesn't Tivo have the OTA guide info for the Grit Network?
They do on my lineup. If you're not getting guide data on a channel then you need to submit a lineup request:
Report a Lineup Issue
Getting guide data for GRIT here in the LA area as well ...
(On local KFTR 46-4)

I guess it's why it isn't in your guide... I also have it.
I've tried filling this out but it's for Cable and I'm OTA, so it wants me to fill out certain info that doesn't apply and it won't let me bypass those responses.
You can still use it for OTA. I do it all the time. Where it asks you your cable company just put "OTA antenna".
Okay so I finally got the issue reported to Tivo, but now they keep sending me an email saying they need more information and to contact them to report it via my Tivo account. So I did that and they still sent me the same email asking for more information, yet I already gave them that info...several times. WTH?!
UPDATE: Received a response from Tivo, they want me to do a forced connection which I've done numerous time before, my box even automatically connects daily. So I doubt this will fix anything. Their next suggestion is to repeat the guided setup process, but I have yet to do that.
They fixed the guide data!
However, there still is no guide or channel name info for the Grit Network on it's other channel. There are two channels here for the Grit Network, 12-3 and 24-3. They fixed the guide info for 12-3 but still nothing for 24-3. I've resubmitted this to Tivo several times already, but nothing has been fixed.
As Mrs K likes to tell me: Little by little.
does 24-3 have video/picture? could be they are planning channel number/frequency change
Yes channel 24-3 comes in just fine, there is just no guide information. I believe the station uses a different tower to transmit from for this channel, but it's the same as 12-3. I have two other channels that do the same thing for other networks, but they all have guide info.
I really believe the issue is on Tivo's end because initially it wasn't showing guide info for 12-3 until I contacted Tivo about it. But for whatever reason Tivo isn't fixing it for channel 24-3...yet.
Finally got guide information for channel 24-3. Woo Hoo!
