LOL... Yup, I am still watching!

Two hour premiere was okay... Not terrible, but not stellar either (which is kind of the cadence this show has been on for the last few seasons)...

Couldn't believe that Jo ended up sleeping with one of the junior resident candidates (I forget what they called them). I knew it was going to happen before it happened...but I was a little shocked when I realized what was about to happen...

I'll continue to watch... I have 13 previous seasons invested in these characters... I have to continue to see where these characters wind up!!! ;)

I believe they called them Sub-Interns, or ""Sub-Is"

That's right... Good memory... At least I am not the only one still watching!

It seems to have become more soap-opera-ier over the years. Or, perhaps I've just forgotten what the earlier seasons were like.

I think you forgot. :) I mean, it started out with Meredith sleeping with a random guy in the bar that turned out to be her boss!

You're probably right--although, now they just about all seem to be doing it. ;)

Yep, that's my job, down to the "t."

    Near...
I'd read that the writer from early seasons was back and it was pretty obvious that she's trying to get the show back to its roots. I enjoyed these 2 episodes more than I have enjoyed the last 2-3 seasons put together.

Giving Amelia a brain tumor seems to be a bit of a cop out rather than having the character go into therapy to get her **** together. But I'm for it if it makes me hate Amelia less. Plus it was a pretty interesting way to reveal the bad news.

I agree... I like the last two episodes... I thought they were pretty solid overall...

And I don't mind the brain tumor explanation... I agree with her character that it's an interesting irony, a brain surgeon with a tumor... And I found it interesting thinking about the impact that the tumor might have had on the past surgeries of the last decade...

Cop out? Yeah...kind of... But I am fine with it, and will be interested in seeing how it all plays out...

The storyline allows for a big personality reset. It will be interesting to see who we get. Anybody notice how Arizona no longer seems to have a prosthetic leg. Last night you could clearly see her feet in her shoes. I wonder if they will just forget that ever happened.

    I'm still watching.
Grey's Anatomy stills feel like a good plate of homemade meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

I have hated Amelia since day 1.
I am hoping she bites it.

I think they all sleep with each other (as far as I can tell).

Agreed, but then they'd have to bring in someone else to be the one-and-only neurosurgeon at Grey Sloan and it might be somebody worse. At least with a retcon, they can the wipe the slate clean and maybe fix her.

I've never been convinced the Derek actually, really died; or did not inwardly belong to a sect that believed in reincarnation . . . . ;)

Grey can use her 3d printing machine to make a new Derek.

A cute vignette in tonight's (Oct. 12) episode: the woman who brought a small, white poodle with her to a job interview with Bailey and Webber; in response to Bailey's question as to why she had brought the dog, who now was on the table, jumping on Bailey and Webber, the woman responded that the dog was an emotional support dog and that Bailey could not legally ask that question. :)

Their reaction to the way the dog kept jumping on them was priceless.
