Green Screen of death (6.3 upgrade failed)

    My HD-Tivo is now in a continuous reboot loop with a Green Screen that say that it has incountered a "sever error". DirecTV says it it because it tried to download the new software and fail and that I have to wait 24 hours before calling them again because it might start working. This sounds like complete BS. It's been doing it for 8 hours now, how could waiting another 16 help? Any ideas?

    Let it keep trying to fix itself. Sometime it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's not quite BS (but close).

    How does it "fix itself"? Last I check it had been rebooting over and over for 8 hours. Has this happend to many people? If the rebooting does not fix it, what's the next step? I have Weekneas second hard drive so I assume DirecTV wont fix it.
