    What we know:
    - Oliver's and Felicity's suburban lifestyle would not last. Even Felicity is "cheating" on him.
    - Speedy... err... "Red Arrow" is reckless, because of the Resurrection.
    - Diggle's angst against Oliver won't last either.
    - Once again, an evil entity wants to destroy the city.

    What we don't know:
    - D. Darhk powers? Seems like he made a pact with the Devil.
    - How far will to the Darhk Side will Detective Lance go?
    - Who's grave? My guess is that it won't be someone regular, like Laurel, Speedy, or Felicity.
It may be Sarah, faking her death again, so she can join the Legends in 6 months.

They emphasized what a good idea it was to call the show just Arrow. Man, it sounded goofy when he called himself "Green Arrow"!

Fair warning - if that's Felicity's grave, I'm am OUT!

I really really hate that whole "oh, look, something awful is going to happen in six months to someone you like, now you have to wait and see which one" tease. Hate hate hate!

Now, when it happens, we'll go "oh! so THAT's who it was back in episode 1", instead of "OMG! They killed <whomever>!"

Can you imagine if episode 1 of "Game of Thrones" had spoiled the ending of "Baylor"? The reaction would not have been the internet phenomenon it turned out to be.

My guess is that the grave belongs to Laurel's dad.

I'm not digging Diggle's new helmet.

    Green Arrow. About time!

I was hoping they ditched the flashbacks now that the entire pre-arrow story has been told. Nope.

And just how often is Ollie givin' Felicity the arrow? (Every night, I'd guess, and twice on Sunday.) And will we be teased with the "will he/won't he" (propose) throughout this season?

Y'know, I think those two look pretty good as a couple. They appear to have settled into a nice dynamic, but it still looks fresh and occasionally mildly awkward. You can tell they're portraying a couple that is still finding out things about each other, and they are handling disagreements well.

Is it possible that Felicity is even hotter this year? Damn.

His Cisco redesigned costume is much closer to the current comics costume.

I also noticed that they did rename Starling City to "Star City".

While I agree that Diggle needs to conceal his identity, I also agree that helmet is a bad design.

I'm also dubious of value of showing the tease of the gravestone. I thought that there was enough in the premier to keep things interesting without it.

I am glad they've gotten Neal McDonough to play Darhk.

I've been a fan of his since his portrayal of David McNorris in Boomtown.
He brings of certain amount of, I don't know, arrogant jerkiness to the role?

Thea, Thea, Thea, is this just youthful exuberance or something about being in the Lazarus Pit?

I couldn't help noticing that Felicity and Oliver were living in Ivy Town.
    (Was that Ray's house?)

And Kord Industries was plastered all over this episode.

Then there was this fellow in the Coast City bar....

I fully admit to grabbing the remote and running that back in slow motion when I saw that.

Me, too. I'm annoyed my hope was in vain.

Just how far back will thy go with flashbacks? Teen years? Elementary school? Conception?

They've got a lot going on in the present. Why can't we stay there? And keep off the f**king island.

The flashbacks are moving forward, not backward. They are probably two years prior to S1 right now.

    They are.

They've always been five years in the past from when ever the current season is.

Of course, I don't know what they're going to do if they make it to Season 6.

Yeah, yeah, I know. But soon we are going to run out of time as the flashbacks "move forward." My point was that soon we will run out of moments "pre-Arrow" to examine, without taking a look further and further back.

    Edit: Or what JYoung said.

Oliver was missing for 5 years, so you have another season of flashbacks.

I too am tired of the flash backs but if they're going to have them, at least give Ollie a wig that doesn't look so phony.

Remember... in the pilot episode, Ollie was "rescued" from the island. We knew he will end up back there someday in the past.

I think it has to be or else why would Barry Allen be their.

Also did Dingle did get that helmet from a Magneato garage sale? It looked stupid.

Possibly to set up the excuse for why Barry won't be showing up in Star City this season to help Oliver out with whatever is about to happen. (In his apology, he noted what he was busy doing.)

Oliver could easily have been in front of his mother's grave, swearing finally to kill Malcolm Merlyn.

It would be interesting to see a Dingle/Barry teamup.

I didn't mind the helmet per se, but it seemed not to go so well with the rest of his outfit
