I couldn't find an answer by doing a search. I know you can go forward or backward by 24 hours in the guide by doing a skip forward or backward. Is there a quick way to go forward in the guide by a certain number of hours? I want to go forward for example 8 hours in the guide but I have to do it by a half hour at a time by arrowing forward over and over.

The Forward (>>) and Rewind (<<) buttons do what you want.

While viewing the Guide you can also hit the Info Button and then change the Time or Day to whatever you need. When done, press "Done changing options" and the Guide will be at that Time and Date.

Not a shortcut, but it will put you exactly where you want to be...

With version 20, you need to use the yellow "A" button to change the day or time of day(full guide).
Hitting info brings up the recording screen.

That's what I'm trying to avoid. I want to skip forward by 8 hours all at once and not click on Forward 16 times to get there.

I have a Harmony remote so I don't have the yellow "A" button. I thought there might be another way to do it but I guess I'm out of luck unless I program the yellow "A" button into the Harmony but I think I've used all the buttons on the Harmony for other items already.

FF (>>) jumps ahead 2 hours for each click so it would be 4 presses to jump 8 hours.

That's what I was thinking. That would be the fastest/easiest way to go ahead 8 hours anyway.

Ok, that might work. I was thinking the forward arrow and not the FF>>, thanks!
