Very recently I've come to an issue where Glee will SAY its recording (only show recording) and when I try to play it, it won't play the play button just doesn't move and its a black screen. I know the channel is authorized because I can watch it on the tv but want to catch up from the beginning. Once the show is done "recording" it disappears from my history. Anyone know or have any ideas?

I'm beginning to think it hates the bad acting, but it might not be.

Apparently, TiVo programs in minimum standards for programs it will record!

    AKA, that's not a bug, that's a feature!

    :)

    Galactic...
Thinking of all the possible shows I'd love to see affected by this...
Also understand that some want what they want, and won't find it funny, this being touted as a feature, not a problem...

Maybe too many KUID-set entries in the My Shows list?

Do you mean the recording disappears from My Shows or it leaves no entry in recording history? Read this short thread titled 'Recorded, Unwatched Shows Disappearing (Not in "Recently Deleted")' and see if any of that sounds familiar.

That could be a blessing with the way the show has been going. I use to watch it every week then started FF'ing thru the talking and just watch the singing. Now I find myself even FF'ing thru the music. I don't know how badder( is that a word?) this show can get.

Do you tape anything else on that channel? Just making sure others tape.

Have you rebooted the Tivo? Tivos are still computers at heart, while they are very reliable computers, weird things still happen. Weirdest thing I have ever seen is a channel that refused to record because it was not authorized. The channel was a local NBC one and it was over the air reception! Like I said
    Tivos are computers.
