Except I've heard a rumor that Katy Perry has kissed a girl. Some even say that she liked it.

If that had happened to me, I would have went up to them and let them have it!
"Oh, who's the [INSERT WORD THEY CALLED YOU] NOW?!?!??!?!?"

Then I would have laughed it off. But still, that verbal dagger would have been thrust and twisted a few times...

What happened to Quinn's baby? She kept her right? You'd think she'd mention her at some point or show her, it's like she was never pregnant.

She gave her up for adoption to Rachel's birth mother. She also mentions the ruin of her reputation.

I wonder if that in some way makes Quinn Rachel's step-mother.... :)

my point is... in the context of the show, where the songs have plot relevance, it's an odd song choice.

all boys school glee club, where other school's kids make fun of them for being gay, but they are not all gay, male lead is gay, singing to a gay kid, but the audience, as a whole, is not gay...

and they sing a gay song.. or at least gay in this context.

in real life terms, it's an odd song choice for an all male glee club, since as devdogaz points out, the lyrics are for a girl to guy, and they didn't change the lyrics. makes them seem... gay.

The only girl-to-guy lyric is the first one.

The conversation Shuster had with students about what they do in bed, screaming at them for thinking about the wrong person during sex, was even less plausible than the stuff that usually happens on this show.

Music was an improvement over prior weeks, though. But I thought the Stones/Bon Jovi mashup left something to be desired.

It could be a song they learned in prep for a performance or competition, who's audience would include females.

He wasn't yelling at them about "thinking about the wrong person," he was yelling at them about mentally ridiculing Coach Beiste. And it seemed fairly normal to me.

    "Mentally ridiculing" means thinking, no?

Yes, but the problem wasn't that they were thinking of the wrong person. As far as Schuster is concerned, he probably wouldn't care who they were thinking of, really. They could be thinking of the queen of England for all Schuster cares.

The problem was that they were making fun of Beiste, whether they did so out loud or not.

I'm not seeing any difference between what I said and what you are saying.

He doesn't want the kids to use Beiste's ugliness as a tactic in bed. He doesn't want them to think about her being ugly, because it's unfair to her to be thought of as ugly.

That, to me, is a completely out of bounds topic for him to broach with his students, no matter whose ugliness is being used as a mental tactic.

And that make-up line wasn't in the cut of the song they sang on the show. It started with "Before you met me I was alright". It was in the iTunes cut tho.

Well, it's the "in bed" that is the part that I am arguing about. That's really beside the point that Shu is trying to make.

And scolding them for ridiculing someone, particularly a faculty member, doesn't seem out of bounds in the least.

He's scolding them for ridiculing someone only inside their own heads, and only while in bed. The reason the coach is in their mind is because they're in bed. You can't just pretend that that's not part of the story.
