If I purchase a pay per view with my cable company, will it be available on the cable card and watchable on my Bolt?

Has anyone ever viewed a PPV on a TIVO box?

ps I called Frontier and they had no idea the answer to the question.

I figured this question out. Bolt doesn’t support PPV purchases.

The question is if you're able to order ppv on the web will your Bolts cable card be authorized to view the PPV.

Years ago this workaround worked on a few systems

Yes, technically authorized, but no way to obtain access to it would be the issue (presuming it's On Demand and not on a linear channel).

I cannot speak for certain with Frontier Fios, but with Verizon Fios, you used to be able to order a PPV event but you had to call in to get it authorized, you could not order one via the Tivo box. There was a specific channel # to view the event but I forget what that was, maybe 699 or 799(guesses).
