My internet has been unreliable lately (Mediacom). At least a couple times a day it drops for a few minutes. Mediacom is not helpful since when they come out it's working. Anyway, the TiVo keeps freezing up. It seems like if the internet drops out at the wrong time, especially when doing Netflix stuff, the thing just locks up and has to be rebooted. Anyone else had something like this? I don't imagine there's any way to prevent this?

With NetFlix, sure. And if you're impatient, an internet outage might seem like a hang on ANY HME application; it takes a good while for them to bomb out and give you an error.

It's been as long as 30 minutes. Surely it's locked by then.

Yep, check out the thread on here about TiVo green screening. It happens to me every time my ethernet is plugged *in*. Here is the catch -- it happens over night.
