I hope the reality people are armed, because it could get ugly.

Seems risky... not just the personal safety of those with the show, but also from a legal aspect. Sounds like they're asking to become pseudo-bounty hunters or P.I.'s.

Sounds like it could be fun to me. They wouldn't have to "force" them to pay, but could follow them around and let everyone they work with/live with/see what losers they are until they start to pay.

Wouldn't the deadbeats have to sign a waiver before they could air the footage?

I have someone for them. I think 2 years qualifies for deadbeat.

Not if it is treated as news. Imagine how many of the Dateline:predator guys signed off.

Something tells me people are misinterpreting "reality show", and that this is going to be nothing more than a spinoff of sorts of America's Most Wanted.

(What, you thought The Simpsons was Fox's longest-running series?)

I actually did "fugitive apprehension" and most of the people we went after dead beat dads. We never encountered any violence. The best place to snatch them was the strip clubs at 2AM.

It's almost inevitable this this show will lead to the second on-air stabbing of a reality show host in tv history.
