I'm sorry if this is a real silly question, but I'm still new at this. Got the Bolt a couple months ago and I love it. But there's one thing I can't figure out. When I fast forward or rewind by pressing the arrow more than once and then I want to stop right at a certain spot, the tivo seems to jump a few seconds forward or backward. Is this just how tivo is or is there a way to have it stop on that spot?

On my old dvr,if I fast forward, for example, 4x or 8x, and then if I hit play, it will start playing right at that spot.

That's been how it works for me since Series 4. It may have something to do with how the FF works. My old Sony DHG allowed manual adjustment to that re-queue amount. TiVo does not.

TiVo is adjusting to reaction times. The assumption is that when you hit play during FF that your reaction time means you really wanted to stop the FF slightly behind in time.

    Press PAUSE instead of Play.
