Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that the train station scenes were clearly shot at Union Station in Chicago, if anyone was curious. They didn't even cover up the interior signage pointing to Adams Street and Canal Street. The candy stand and information desk with Solari board were added for the show.

The major train station in Kansas City (in 1950 and today) is also a Union Station, but it looks quite a bit different than the one in Chicago.

Well, we essentially binged the last 4 episodes, so maybe that's why it seems to be moving quickly for us :)

My working theory is the tornado was artificially-generated by the Aliens to camouflage the UFO. The Rabbi was transported up into the UFO where the Aliens performed lethal experiments on him before depositing his remains miles away in a cornfield.

Well that was a crazy episode. A little bit Coen Bros. mixed with Wizard of Oz imagery.

That billboard 'The Future is Now" seems so familiar and I am trying to place it in Coen Bros / Fargo lore. Off to Google to see if there's any type of "there" there.

Re/that billboard - there was something similar last year in the series finale of Mr. Robot.

It reminded me of the "Back to the Future" billboard.

*penultimate episode* *spoilers...you have been warned!*

That was fun! Crazy nurse gets hers, though, I get the feeling we might not have heard the last of her. The young brilliant girl makes her power play. Satchel scares the poop out of some rednecks, and the big galute Gaetano gets his in the oddest way possible.

I swore the person playing "Happy" was Michael K Williams but it wasn't.

I almost felt sorry for Gaetano-he just made nice with his brother and then-trips and falls and-EEEEWWWWWWWWWWW! That was a lot of brains!

Loved it when Satchel scared the rednecks-I was hoping he was going to steal their truck! :D

Paraphrasing Chris Rock-"Your house is mine for as long as I live...which might be for another half hour!" :p He brings such a humor and humanity to Loy. I am LOVING this season! So bummed it's almost over! :(

I honestly didn't think he had it in him... :D

I remember earlier in the season some people were complaining how the story-lines didn't connect.

    HA!

You just figured something was going to happen to Gaetano when he told the story about why he was sent to Italy. That's almost always a signal that something significant is going to happen to a character.

Just the general warm rapprochement between the brothers waiting in the car. That was the kiss of death for one of them.

So, Loy immediately knew how the ring would help him win the war....but how?

I couldn't figure that out either, but if you watch the previews for next week they gave a hint:
It looks like they're going to try to tell New York that Josto had his own father killed to take over, and use the ring as some proof, to try to get Josto taken out of the picture or at least sow disarray.

*season finale* *spoilers...you have been warned!*

So pretty much everyone dies in the end. Can't say I'm shocked that's how it went down. We assume that La Costra Nostra takes over the town and we are not quite sure what ended up happening to Loy's crew. I thought the way each got theirs in the end was appropriate and well done.

And we know, as we all assumed, that Satchel would become Mike Milligan. But I do need to go back and watch that season so I can remember why that's significant.

All in all I thought it was a strong season that got more "Fargo" like as things went along.

That may be the first time I ever saw a TV show have a commercial break in the middle of the closing credits...

Actually I did not enjoy the season as much as previous years. It just seemed very disjointed and the deaths at the end were not very interesting. Probably more realistic that way.
I found myself putting this show at the end of the list.

I was surprised I did not recognize Swanee Capps as Kelsey Asbille from Yellowstone. They had to work to de-glam her.
