fall '07 update

    I can't find any other current info...

    my new (fall 07) update has occurred on my 3(quantity) "series 2" boxes.

    2 boxes have crashed and needed to be rebooted. One has lost all color functions ton my TV (fixed now).

    ALL 3 ARE SLOW AS molasses. :thumbsdown:

    Can't get through to customer support (what a surpirise that is).

    Love my TIVO when all is fine (usually) but hate it when it fails.

    The one personal contact I had in CA has moved to NY and could care less about customer service. :mad:

    Any help? Anyone else have same issues?

    Yeah, look through all the different forums here, look for key words like "9.1 bugs", etc. :D

    Things should work out if history repeats itself. :)
    That also means waiting for the spring '08 update. :rolleyes: ;)

    If you just got the update today/yesterday. wait a day or so before you judge performance. The box will be doing some background indexing as part of the service update.
