Trying to remember him. (watched both seasons) Wasn't he particularly arrogant? (I suppose that's an easy bet...)
he was. Pretty talented, too.
He was one of the runners-up in the first season.
I view Top Chef as two shows.
it's first of all a cooking challenge, with a dose of reality drama.
This guy seemed really talented and had a ton of skill and was one of my pics to win, however he was totally creepy, arrogant, and lacked people skills. I didn't care for him much on that aspect.
Even if he's guilty, he'd still wouldn't be even close to the most disturbed person from that season.
Yeah, and using dessert chefs results in even more drama. I call this version Top Chef: Just Drama.
Season 1 of the Just Desserts show had a lot of crazy people. I watch TC mostly to see them do the challenges, and be in awe of some of the skill. The crazy on the show was almost made me stop watching it.
Season 2 has less crazies, and is far more enjoyable. I almost didn't watch it because of season's 1 crazy level but it's been pretty enjoyable for the most part.
Faux-hawk and the woman with the bad hand who described herself as someone who "can't cook" were pretty bad. It's gotten better through the season, however.
Season 2 is definitely less nutter-butter than Season 1, contestant-wise.
Yeah, Morgan was arrogant, but I kind of liked him. Ick. Doesn't he have kids himself?
I actually almost didn't even watch S01 because there is something about Gail that I just don't like. I honestly cannot figure out what it is, as she seems lovely, but she grates on me. Now, that Johnny guy - I can't look away. He has some of that Elvis (like Elvis from the '68 Comeback Special) hotness.
Well, he's a huge Elvis fan, so that is part of what he channels, image wise. I like him more this season than last. He annoyed me. Gail was working too hard last season. This one, they're more comfortable in their roles, and I like them both better for it. Last season, Gail seemed like she was trying to be too stoic when sending someone home. This season, she seems to be more empathetic when she sends them away.
I loves me some Gail. She is gorgeous.
Johhny I. is cool too. Though his current look isn't like his look in season 1.
yet it is perfectly fine and apparently "Cute and Funny" for a toddler to come on Ellen and sing this....
yeah, thats so cute! he he
What does that have to do with this guy?
I couldn't finish watching season 1 based on the creep factor. But pastry chef are know to be a little 'off'. I almost didn't watch season 2 based on how icky S1 made me feel.
