It was nice to see a little more depth to Carter's character.

Now this one seemed a decent episode compared to much of the rest of the season. They didn't create meaningless gobbledygook to explain anything, or subject us to gobbledygook as they created something, or have gobbledygook conflicting with previous gobbledygook that we have to ignore; they did all that off-camera. And the sheriff used his investigative skill to solve things rather than taking on the role of scientist and creating something out of multiple parts. And on top of it we got some insight into Fargo's childhood as well as the relationship between Carter and his daughter.

(I guess gobbledygook is really a word since the spell checker likes it spelled that way but not any other way. :))

Why was Carter complaining about Jo's magazine (and why was she trying to hide it)? Since when is he into fashion?

She was trying to hide it because it was a very girly magazine and she was embarrassed. He was just teasing her.

The only thing that bothered me, they go to confront the scientist and say, "hey! You stole my work and threw me into a cryo tank", and the guy says "No! I stole your work, but I didn't put you in the tank", and they just go, "oh... okay".

It was a little too easy, the only thing missing was the guy waving his hand and saying, "these are not the scientists you are looking for". :)

I kept thinking, "Where are the cameos by Leela and Zoidberg?"

I still enjoy this show, unfortuneately on a level on par with Gilligans Island instead of the great show it could be.

That was the first thing to pop into my head as well, except I kept expecting someone to say, "Good news, everybody..."

I enjoyed this episode. It has its moments of hilarity and seriousness, and they keep poking gently at the Henry thread. Just enough to remind you and keep you wondering.

If Jo is ever not needed in Eureka, I hope Erica Cerra can slide over to the USA Network and replace Gabrielle Anwar on "Burn Notice"...

If I have a half dozen shows in my my TDL (Saving Grace, 4400, etc.) this is the FIRST one I watch. It's tops on my summer list.

Hmm.. 50 years ago a young guy is frozen, and forgotten. He's accidently re-animated. He wakes up looking as young as he was when went into the freezer. He starts rapidly getting older, but luckily levels off at his "real" age. He ages just in time to meet his one true love from before the freezer. Now their ages match and she acts as if she's been waiting for him to reappear all these years.

Oh yeah, I saw that movie: Forever Young

Why is every tv show time period always in nice round, friendly numbers? It's always 50 years, 100 years, 20 years. It's never 37 years or 62 years or 23 years. That always irks me. Sorry. I'll go away now.

The maximum time a stable wormhole can normally be maintained is 38 minutes. Does that make you feel better? :)
