I have two Directivos. Both stopped receiving both ESPN and ESPN2 recently. If a tuner is tuned to either station, it says "Searching for signal on..." (whichever tuner is tuned to ESPN). If both are tuned to ESPN, both tuners are listed. I get the guide data fine. Both units have been rebooted. One unit is an R10, the other is a Samsung SIR-S4120.

Anyone else see this? Any ideas?

This is odd - I have no signal on sat. 101 transponder 8, which serves at least ESPN and ESPN2. This is on both Tivos. My two non-Tivo receivers have a signal, although it is a bit low(63 rather than in the 90's for most other transponders). This explains the loss of ESPN, but I have no idea why this is happening.

    Defective LNB? Defective multiswitch?
    Where are you located?

Can you post your signal readings ....

Satellite transponders (32 total at 101º)

Some of those low/zero readings are normal since they're spot beam transponders not aimed at your area. But 32 should not be zero. Something is clearly wrong, possibly with your dish LNB or multiswitch. Best to call DirecTV and request a service visit. It's free if you have their Equipment Protection Plan. Otherwise ~$50.

So the problem is at the dish somewhere. I have a three sat dish with built-in 4-way multiswitch. One of the four cables from the dish has no transponder 8 or 16. Directv is coming tomorrow to service it.

The triple LNB and multi-switch are all one unit on the dish. Service replaced it and the problem was solved. All transponders now have signals in the 90's.
