    I just got my cachecard installed last night - at last!

    I spent most of the night (including the early hours) looking at different "essential" modules, and I think endpad is going to be the killer app for SWMBO if it can fix the BBC's poor scheduling.

    The problem is Monday night's corrie/eastenders, and I believe the answer is negative padding, and I believe it can be set up on a per-show or channel basis, but I don't know how.

    Has anyone solved this specific problem?

    I don't generally have any other scheduling issues, but this is the biggie in our house....

    Thanks

    Simon

    You haven't actually said what the specific problem is, that you're trying to solve :confused: A bit more info and it'll be easier to suggest something.

    Sorry! I suppose I've heard it so often from SWMBO, i didnt think it needed explained.

    On a Monday night programming is as follows:

    ITV1 19:30 -> 20:00 Corrie
    BBC1 20:00 -> 20:30 Eastenders
    ITV1 20:30 -> 21:00 Corrie

    What I would like endpad to do is :

    ITV1 19:30 -> 20:02 Corrie
    BBC1 20:02 -> 20:32 Eastenders
    ITV1 20:32 -> 21:00 Corrie

    Any suggestions appreciated

    (its ok if the first one starts at 19:30 or 19:32 and the last ends at 21:00 or 21:02)

    I assume you don't have/can't get Digital services? That would help as both shows are repeated :)

    Easy.

    endpad.config has:

    c ITV1 p Corrie n 2
    c BBC1STH p Eastenders n 2

    (Plus of course whatever 'normal' padding parameters you start endpad with; I use 1 min start and 4 minutes end padding. If you used the same then the first Corrie will actually start at 1929hrs and the second one will end at 2104hrs)

    We do get digital, but thats no good for SWMBO - later is too late!

    Excellent! This sounds like just the ticket! I'll give it a try when I get home...

    Many thanks

    IIRC correctly, you'll need to enter Corrie as "Coronation Street" (incl. quotes) so that only Corrie is matched.
