Editing tivo files once they are on my PC?

    I recorded the news and only want about half the file is there any way to modify (shorten) the TiVo file?

    I use VideoReDo with great success (the latest version recognizes .tivo files) - can automatically take out advertising as well. It's fast and then produce .mpg file into Nero Vision for adding menus etc..

    Videoredo is for two weeks. If you are going to use it for more than that, buy it. It's a pretty good product for editing video.

    Another :up: :up: for VideoRedo, especially since now it supports .tivo files natively (no pre-conversion necessary).

    It's well worth the $50.

    and it's got to be better than their "partner" at Sonic which has gone downhill since the recent software upgrades have come out
