I believe it was the new chief executive officer of TiVo, in some article, had indicated something interesting coming early-ish 2020 with respect to the TiVo+ situation. If I remember correctly he stated that ramping up TiVo+ content was not easy but that they would have some surprises for us in 2020. I'm not sure how this works, but if there is a person or persons who run this site perhaps they should reach out to TiVo and try to get an interview with the CEO and get some tidbits.

Those surprises include the first ten seasons of Bonanza on loop and Texaco Star Theatre.

Maybe it will be the Tivo/Roku connection that was supposed to happen earlier this year!

That actually sounds better than the content they currently have on TiVo+

Maybe we'll see TiVo unveil their upcoming Android TV dongle/stick at CES next month. I can imagine that they'll announce some kind of expansion/upgrade of TiVo+ at the same time, and probably the formal unveiling (if not immediate release) of the new TiVo app (or will it be called the TiVo+ app?) for Roku, Apple TV and Fire TV.

Maybe Tivo+ will be the vehicle to bring Android to our consumer TE4 Tivos.

    I laughed out loud.

It'd be nice if the TiVo app worked on Intel chip devices. A lot of Chromebooks don't have ARM chips, especially the more expensive ones. Being able to easily stream when I travel would be nice.

I loved that show. Richard Boon, a real man's man, no pretty boy like today's leading men.

Tivo streaming is a joke. I was never able to get my Roamio to stream properly on any device, let alone a Chromebook. I had constant buffering with my Stream to the point where it was completely useless. I have since set up a Recast and it works perfectly even on my Intel Chromebook.

It will probably be some exciting new features or accessories that will never be released.

Or maybe it'll be a TiVo Vehicle! Finally, you'll be able to have a true pre-roll ad experience with the 2020 TiVo Hydra SUV!

At a CONSUMER show, in a CONSUMER email? Doubtful they’d announce a business decision like that.

Likely new consumer service or product.
