DT & Comcast Digital, No ON DEMAND

    I just got a Series 2 DT and I hooked it up using my Comcast Digital box and it works great. The one thing I don't understand is why my cable box is not working. I tried acessing the On Demand feature using the cable remote and got nothing. Then I tried turning the channel with the cable remote and nothing happened on the TV. Even when I turned the cable box off, both tuners still worked with TiVo. My cable is split, 1 to TiVo and 1 to cable box, then from TiVo to TV. From cable box to TiVo using RCA jacks.
    Any ideas?

    If you are watching/recording a channel from 1-99 then TiVo normally does not use the cable box since it can tune the channel itself. If you want to do On Demand then you need to manually change to the On Demand channel with your TiVo remote. You should them see the top-level On Demand screen on your tv. After that the Comcast remote should be able to access On Demand content as usual. Hope this makes sense. Good Luck!

    That worked and I am loving my DT even more now. I have not yet needed to record 2 shows at once but I feel better about it now.
