drop outs

    I am experiencing video dropouts (no pixelation). It even happens on the Tivo menu screen. My first thought is the connection but it seems to be connected okay. Bad cables? Anybody having similar issues?

    I have Comcast.

    Well, if it happens to the menu as well as the recordings then I would think that it would have nothing to do with your provider.

    My first guess (and hope) would be a bad cable. The only other alternatives I can think of are that the output port on your TiVo is going bad or that the input port on your TV is going...
