Downloaded Guide data not loading??

    I have a Series 1 tivo that goes through the dialing, downloading, and loading process, then when finished says no data available. I went to TIVO and they told me it was the modem, so I ordered a new modem from http://www.weaknees.com/ and same thing. I have been using it for years without issue with the same settings (no recent channel lineups or the such) only thing that might have changed of late is the cable signal now being broadcast in complete digital signal but have installed converter and am pretty sure it started before I installed the digital converter but was close.

    could it possibly be the hard drive? I still am able to access my existing recordings and get to all Tivo screens, jsut will not load downloaded data

    Try running the Clear Program Info and ToDo List option in the restart menu. If the guide data got corrupted somehow that will wipe it out and start over with a fresh download.
