Does Any1 know how to transfer Tivo Recordings to a VCR.do i need a certain connector or sumething??
Plug it in, press "Save to VCR", start tape.
ya, but whut kind of connector do i need.like a special usb connector or sumething.
Don't they explain this in the manual anymore ?
Use the Red,Black, and yellow connectors from the output of the TiVo to the input on the VCR.
Must be kidding about thinking you'd use the usb connector right ?
The recordings made to a vcr are via the video outputs (RF, RCA, or s-video). For more details, see this online article.
yea ya going to be needin a special thingagig. They is these three wires that plugs in botf the tvo and vcr. once ya done do that then start teh tvo and vcr. then them's talk together and one goes to the other.
The red, black, and yellow cord came with my tivo right.my tivo box is in the garage and dont feel like going downstairs...
Have you ever hooked up a vcr to a tv?
It's no different.
Step 1) Drink moonshine.
Step 2) Hook up Tivo to VCR
Step 3) Drink more moonshine.
then how are you going to connect the VCR to the Tivo then?
Looks like "rackem" is back again...
First off, what you want are called RCA cables which is "Yellow White and Red." The Yellow is the Video and the Red & white is audio! those go on the second set of RCA outputs on the back of the TiVo. then connect those to the VCR's RCA Inputs.
You can copy to any Video equipment with a Video and Audio inputs e.g. DVD,VCR, or even a TiVo. The TiVo would be pointless but could be done.
It's easy........Just hook up your VCR with RCA cables put in the tape.Go to the menu and select save to VCR and it does like a 5 second countdown and then that is when you push record on your VCR and then you can save all your backed up porn! ......I mean stuff!
