And yet frustratingly, the previous episode had the foundation for a really good three-companions story, by splitting them up and putting them in a position where they are on the inside dealing with people who aren't...i.e., they effectively took on the Doctor role with their own companions. Could have been super-cool. Wasn't. Which, as I've said before, is the problem with Chibnall's run. He has good ideas, but doesn't pull them off.
