Advertisements Wow. I am also all about the quirky. Every single show you have listed above is set for a Season Pass for me. Only major favorite of mine you left out is The Office, and even that took a bit to grow on me. I hate the L&O, CSI, any crime/mystery genre also - they just all seem the same to me. A show has to be different to get a chunk of my viewing time. As far as reality shows, I also love Survivor and TAR, but must add Kid Nation this season. I also like American Idol, but mostly for the trainwreck factor. And there's no WAY I could watch that live. Thanks to TiVo I can see all the parts I care about in 15 min or so. I just can't get into Two and a Half Men either, even though I absolutely LOVE Jon Cryer and I have tried it several times. But I do love the CBS 8 o'clock comedy block of HIMYM and Big Bang Theory. I think the "average" TV viewers are the ones with "bad taste" - or at least not open enough to try something new, and they stick with the formulaic stuff they know and love.
