My friends ordered one and were told there was no problem getting TIVO, however when the technician came he brought the generic DVR. Said they couldn't get Tivo unit. They specifically said they did not want the generic one when they ordered and were told OK. Upon calling again they were told there are no tivo units only generic DVR........ I think this is false advertising along with "bait and switch". Has this happened to anyone else??? I am trying to resolve this with directv since I am the one that talked them into tivo....... Thanks for any answers or comments.
