Advertisements I Receive my television signal from DirecTV. I find that stations uniformly begin and end broadcasts with precision relative to the time standard at www.time.gov. The TIVO clock, as displayed in the guide screen, is 3 secs behind the standard. Recordings on all stations, however, begin 15 seconds early and end 15 seconds early. I have had TIVOS since 2003, and have experienced this issue on all of them to one degree or another, but this is the worst. TIVO's advice (as found in forums) is to record every show a minute longer. This is insulting. The TIVO contains a computer orders of magnitude better than the which got the Apollo missions to the moon, and it can't tell time? How come the clock is almost on and the actual recording times way off? This is an equipment problem that should not have to be kludged by the user. Does anyone know a fix or another thread that gets to the nub of the problem? How can one actually contact TIVO and be heard? Thank you all!
