I just purchased a new HDTV and upgraded my Directv with a new H10 receiver. I already own a series 2 Tivo and (have been) using it with my old Hughes (GCEB0A) receiver. I was forced to use the IR control to change the channel on the Hughes receiver (no serial port); however, my new H10 receiver does have the (RCA?) Low Speed Data port. So, since I was having trouble using the IR control, I purchased the Low Speed cable and made the necessary connections...still no luck.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Admittedly, I haven't monkeyed around too much with the IR controller (I was hoping the low speed would work better) to see if I could get it to work. I'm guessing the Directv H10 does not support this secondary connection...any insight will be appreciated!
