I switched from DirectTV to FIOS and DirectTV let me keep my R-10. Since I can't stand the Verizon DVR, I bought a TivoHD and was wondering if I could network the R-10 with the new TivoHD to watch the TivoHD recorded shows using the R-10 on another TV? Otherwise, it's just going to sit in my attic until I throw it away.

I'm sure that question has been answered hundreds of times, but I can't seem to find a "search" button on the site anywhere (yes, I'm a n00b). Is there a guide or a post that will point me in the right direction?

Not easily. You have to hack both DVRs, an I am not sure of the state of Series 3/THD hacks.

You are better off selling the R10 to someone that can use it for its intended purpose, and getting a series 2 standalone and subscribing it, or somehow sending video from the one TiVo to other locations in your home, and remote commands back.
