David Letterman to retire in 2015?

    Great get by CBS imo. Hands down best choice they could have made.

    Fully agree. And I'm SHOCKED at how quickly they made this happen. No will they or won't they NBC crap.

    cbs and viacom are both subsidiaries of national amusements, so he's basically walking down the hall...i'm sure they're glad to keep him in the family.

    I read somewhere that the rest of his (rather large) family uses the English pronunciation. He decided at some point in school (not sure exactly when) to use the French pronunciation to be different. He was definitely using it before the Colbert Report was on the air.
