A good episode. I'm glad the prison break didn't drag out too long...

The question now is who is the "asset" that the Corp had in place.

No updates on #1 this week that I noticed?

Still a fun show that I'm glad I have around for the summer.

Agree with the post above. I'm really surprised that episode one ends with the murder of #1 and then episode 2 just mentions him in passing.

Also annoyed that freezing someone until you get to better medical facilities is not standard procedure

oh...and I'm not threadcrapping, I love the show!

I still don't get it how they would get rid of One. Of course in a universe where you have traveling clones (who have all the memories of the original) he probably shot a clone and the original One is somewhere else safe and sound.

I don't remember but I seem to recall something weird happening to the body when a clone is killed...I could be 100% wrong...

    Nothing like that described here.

Of course, as we all know from as far back as Blade Runner, if all clones have expiry dates, there will eventually be one that doesn't.

But it did happen on the show...the copy melted/disintegrated.

Bear in mind that the Wiki is created by fans, and is no more or less official than what we say here. ;)

Whew...I'm glad I'm not imagining things...I seemed to recall that someone got shot and the body just turned into ash or something like that. I knew it happened, I just wasn't sure it was this show!

I think it was for the big guy's (5?) backstory; when he investigates the massacre.

I thought last year that Killjoys got more attention than Dark Matter. I didn't get why since I think DM is by far the best. Glad to see you all seem to agree with me now--don't see a Killjoys thread anywhere. ;)

I prefer Killjoys. :p I like the smaller cast that have actual names. ;) This was a great episode of Dark Matter. Looks like Six is back with the team, albeit in stasis. I figure they'll get him out soon, unless Roger Cross was too expensive to have in every episode. No idea what's up with One.

I checked the ratings for Season 2. Dark Matter leads in total viewers (mil .827 vs .775), while Killjoys leads the 18-49 demo (.24 vs .20), according to...

Based on the dates at the above site, this is just for E1 of both.

Good episode. Was hoping for a little more on One, but there was already a lot going on here. I doubt it's the last we see of Corso.

Loved it when Five's orders were "kill them all".

That was awesome. The Android kicked ass. I loved that she completely followed orders, executing the ***** when she was down.

The Android's refusal to comply earlier, combined with the scene near the end where she says she can't establish a neural link with the Raza, makes me believe they are going to make her more of an independent entity, migrating towards being a person. More of a true, self-aware AI. Or I could be reading too much into things.

Yeah, I figured she wasn't long for the show (Franka Potente is probably a little high-rent for a Syfy show), but it was pretty cool the way they did away with her!

That's because the transport clones are designer to only last 72 hours. But they can just as easily "design" them to not do that.

There will definitely be more story around this. When Five told the holo version to delete herself after learning about the "glitch", I figured they'd take it in an AI direction. At first I didn't like the android character, but she's growing on me.

My guess is that it's either Five or the Android.

    Well, he's still dead.
    :)

The character is fine but I still have issues with the actress.

So what is the deal with Mark Bendavid and Roger Cross?
I don't think that either is off the show permanently but they're not going to around for the immediate future.

Is this still a 13 episode season?

Clearly the Android has not been programmed with the three basic laws of robotics. ;)

Does Roger Cross have another gig?

I prefer Killjoys o Dark Matter but DM has improved a lot since its pilot episode.
