I thought that too. When he's slamming those guy's heads into the pavement over and over I just kept thinking "skull fraction" or "intracranial hemorrhage". But it's fantasy so you have to suspend disbelief a little. They just shouldn't have made the lecturing about killing such a focal point and it wouldn't have been so obvious.

I just finished and I think the problem with season 2 was in binge watching.
The fight scenes are all amazing but the never-ending line of ninjas does become tiring every 45 minutes. I think if I watched the episodes over a longer period of time I wouldn't have become so immune to them.

I still like the series and characters but S1 resonated with me more.

Agree the never ending ninja fights were a bit much but on the whole, consider it on par with season 1 which I really enjoyed. Loved these interpretations of The Punisher and Elektra, much better than previous efforts. Looking forward to season 3.

Finished it up this weekend. When he was on the rooftop talking to Claire she was telling him he needed help and was in over his head.

    Jessica Jones Spoiler
I was thinking isn't this the perfect time for her to bring up Jessica Jones? I am guessing since Foggy met with the lawyer lady this takes place before the events of Jessica Jones?

So what was the deal with the super deep hole?

What about the kid that was in he cargo container in Season 1 who was supposed to be "Black Sky"?

Also they knew that this group could resurrect people, there is NoBu, and the Dead kid in the morgue who had clearly been resurrected. How could they not expect them to resurrect Elektra?

Finished it yesterday. We only watched a max of 2 episodes per day so that helped a bit to avoid the "fight exhaustion". Of course there are parts that are silly but that's par for the course. I did really like Punisher, and Elektra wasn't too bad.

It was clear to me that the flower pot was for Elektra pretty early in the last episode. I kept expecting her body to be whisked away when Matt was fighting Nobu. Gross that they waited until she was buried to dig her back up, but I guess it's a lot more impactful on the screen. I wonder if anyone speaks Japanese and could read what the writing on the flower pot said.

My LOL moments always come when Stick is pretending to not be able to "see". He just flails around with that cane and it's hilarious. I guess it's true that when you get older you just don't care what people think :)

Yeah, I thought season 1's single storyline was too thin. I almost didn't make it to the end. This season's multiple storylines made it more interesting and I watched all of the episodes a lot more quickly.

I like what they did with Elektra. Much improved from the Jennifer Garner interpretation. Was "Black Sky" written for the series or was it adapted from a comic storyline?

I just finished watching Daredevil over the weekend.

So does it come before Jessica Jones timewise? I am watching that next. Not familiar with really any comics, but love all the MCU movies/tv shows. I believe I heard them drop Jessica Jones' name in one episode of DD, didn't they?

Where does Luke Cage fit in the timeline? After Jessica Jones, I assume?

Will Punisher get a show? I really enjoyed that character and thought "Shane" did an excellent job with it!

    ETA: replaced Jennifer with Jessica

I was just happy, because I almost type Nick Cage!
