I was a little surprised by James leaving. But, I disagree, from a pure performance view, he deserved the marks he got. I assume the judges were already aware, so bravo to them for not taking his personal life in to account when judging the dance. I really am saddened by his families loss and then having to deal with being sent home. But, as my wife said, maybe it is better for his family. While he will be back next week, he won't have to spend a whole week practicing. He can spend time with his family.

If I wanted to dispute judges scores, I would disagree with the 10s Ally got for her Charleston and 9s that Hannah got for her Contemporary. While I liked Aly's dance, there were a few moments that she and Sasha were out of sync. It was noticeable. Meanwhile, I though Hannah's Contemporary was beautiful and I am struggling to find what the judges docked her for. I thought she deserved 10s.

Going in to the finals, I am not sure who will win. On pure dancing, I think Ally or Kel are probably the favorites, but we know this is a popularity contest as well and Ally has been in the bottom two a number of times. She obviously doesn't not have a great fan base. I am guess Kel will win over Lauren. Hannah is 3rd and Ally is 4th.

For me, Kel did a nice job yesterday, but he still was stiff at times and lacked flow at those points, something James never has had as an issue.

Yeah, I just watched last night and was going to say the same. While watching Ally's Charleston I was thinking it'd be an 8, maybe 9 if generous because of all the out of sync parts. I was shocked by the 10's and no comments about that.

In fact, I think sometimes it comes down to the music. The upbeat Charleston music is exciting and she did have a good high-energy performance, but James' odd disco song screwed him over. I think if he had a better song, he would have had higher scores and been safe. Len only scored low due to the disco choreography.

I thought James was going to win the season. I liked his dances better than any of the others throughout the season (maybe not necessarily just this week).

I still think that it should have been, #1 James, #2 Ally. :)

I have no problem with her winning. I thought all 4 dancers in the Finals (plus James) did a great job and any of them would have been a suitable winner, unlike previous seasons.

I will call out Alan for his Choreography, especially in the Freestyle last night with Hannah, with all due respect to Lauren's country and Kel's Hip-Hop high energy dances, I thought Hannah's was the best DANCE. It was a good mix of dance styles. Most importantly it showcased Hannah and not Alan. Too many of the Pros **cough** Sasha **cough** put too much in their own moves. Hannah's freestyle was all about Hannah.
