I think he'll be okay if she can bring home the costumes.

No one I'm especially rooting for this season, especially out of the "celebs."

I'm done with listening to Paula Deen whine, she needs to go home. "y'all"

Alfonzo was ok as a judge but as a host.....I'll be glad to have Tom back next week. And thank goodness the train wreck of Busey is now over. People were applauding him just for his oddballness and it really just felt sad.

Agreed... It's amazing what a good or not-so-good host does to the dynamics of the show... Tom is simply a natural... Alfonzo was awkward...but some of that was probably nerves and lack of experience... He would probably get better over time...

As an aside, I am not sure Survivor could survive a host change... Jeff Probst pretty much defines the show...

Another bottom dweller leaves us, which should continue to make the show more interesting as we eliminate the performances that I have to fast forward through... :)

I love Gary's story, and am glad that he survived his motorcycle accident and still thrives in his 70s... That said, he's not an entertaining dancer, so I am not disappointed by his departure...

It was funny to see Gary talk and talk and really not care at all that the show is live and time was up.

Bindi's contemporary dance yesterday was really moving.

I agree... I love her personality and outlook on life... At least she portrays a great attitude outwardly very well...

I didn't think the Backstreet Boy did as great a job as the judges did... He wasn't bad... He just wasn't as stellar to deserve all the fawning over...

I thought Braxton did a good job... Previous dances didn't feel as feminine or as emotive... This one felt just right...

    I liked Tamar Braxton's also.

But serious DWTS without Tom and Len was really missing something.
Where was Tom? (I fast forward through a lot of the talk and judging so I am sure they said where but I didn't catch it...)

Seems odd for the host to miss a show.

Tom went to go see his dad who is ill.

I agree that this season is not doing it for me. Len was my favorite judge and half the "stars" are barely that.

Did they say what if any background she has in dance? She may not be a professional but she really seems have the performance and musicality down.

I know she has done some movies and a lot of stuff in front of an audience but I would expect her as a new dancer to be concentrating technically.

I literally am counting steps when I try to dance so she is really good at patting her head and rubbing her belly so to speak.

Wow... Looks like Tamar Braxton was the only one who didn't have a better night with their switchout partners than their normal partners...

Even Paula Deen seemed more comfortable with the switchup (though still painful to watch)...

Everyone else seemed to up their game significantly... Derek was a great coach and a big confidence booster for Alexa (and got her the first perfect score of the season to boot!).

I can't watch Bindi without a smile on my face...

I do miss Len as a judge. I thought Max was not as objective as he should have been. I feel like he gave his brother a better score than he should have and was harder on the others.

Other than missing Len, I think this season has been great.

I gave up on DWTS a few seasons ago... The show got tired, and I kinda felt like my parents watching the Lawrence Welk show...

Alfonso Ribeiro brought me back last season because I was a big fan of his on the Fresh Prince and wanted to see how he would do...

I am now enjoying the show again... And it only gets better after the bottom dwellers are weeded out...

    I do miss Len too...

As good as Alexa's dance was, I actually enjoyed Andy's more. That was a huge improvement for him.

And, yeah, Tamar doesn't bond quickly.
