Daily call PPP down?

    Just wondering if it's me that is having daily call problems today?

    Connecting via a cachecard.

    I can connect out OK from my tivo:

    nic_config_tivo confirms that I'm set to make the call over the network. A fresh pair of eyes may help spot the problem I hope! Ie where else does it decide whether to use the network or modem for the call?

    Ah, it was just me :). Turns out I had two hdparm lines in my rc.sysinit.author lines which weren't backgrounded.

    Quite wierd to diagnose but I got the hint from one of the few threads which contained the same message I was getting - "failed. Line unavailable".
