I want to cut the cable...I have a TIVO Roamio...will this work with streaming services using only an antenna and internet connection?

    That unit can do OTA.

It will Stream, too, but I'd suggest a dedicated streaming device like a Roku.

Seems like more devices are streaming enabled, some of which I owned but never realized. We have a couple of Sony Blu-ray players that have streaming capabilities with even a dedicated button for Netflix. We have a Fire Stick, an older Roku, and now have streaming capable one with built in 4k Roku) as well as a Roamio OTA which made cutting the cord earlier this year very easy.

Our attic antenna pulls in a bunch of stations, but we have found that we really don't watch/need to watch OTA stations live, so the Tivo allows us to watch shows on our own schedule.

We finally got rid of the land line and cable TV and now paying less than $40 per month for internet so we have saved enough money in a few months to pay for a new TV!

Only regret is not joining the cable cutting party sooner.
