I have restarted the TiVo and Cox tuning adapter 2 times. I called Cox and they said they have gotten an influx of calls on this same issue this evening. Cox tech said his an dthe supervisors best guess is that TiVo had an update that messed with the tuning adapter. The tuning adapter isn’t working, it’s not being recognized at all. I have all of my channels but this error message pops up every 60 seconds more or less that says there is a problem with the tuning adapter I tried to call TiVo support but of course they are closed. Any suggestions?

Cox like to blame TiVo. Get a different TA and CC from Cox.

In in OKC and have been working with various Cox reps since Thursday Nov 2 on this same issue. Most of the techs don't have a clue about the Tuning Adapter much less our Tivo. I finally did have a meaningful discussion with one guy who provided the following.
"Cox corporate has not identified any area wide issues in my area (SW OKC) however he can see where many people in my area are calling in for support. In talking to other techs he says the calls are related to the tuning adapters. He also said that with tuning adapter issues Cox will not raise an area alert or flag since there are relative few users. He ran some test from his end and verified things on my end were okay so he concluded this issue is related to the area problems with the adapters. Unfortunately, he could not tell me when things may be corrected."

Since this is a big day for football in our area I bypassed our adapter so we could watch Bedlam. Fortunately FS1 works just fine without the adapter.

One last input. Most of the Cox reps wanted me to schedule a tech visit.
I asked why when they were telling me it was a problem on their end. They said "that's what we're told to do"... ha

yep, Tech roll is the top option for them. Don't want to jinx myself as mine are working fine in Tulsa. As far as I can tell Las Vegas is fine too, as I can watch channels from my Tivo/Cox account there over sling just fine.

Are you in OKC? According to this post, they're still working on it. :(

Has anybody had this resolved for them yet? I'm in Norman and it has been down since last Thursday. After trading out multiple tuner adapters, I had a service call on Sunday, but before they showed, someone from Cox called and said it was an area wide issue and the tech would not be able to do anything (which isn't surprising, they hardly ever do). Would have been nice to know that before going through the hassle of switching them out multiple ties, but oh well. It is still down for me after almost a week. Just curious if anybody else had gotten their issue resolved.

Working here. Will Cox credit you for lost service?

Fortunately it’s not affecting the Tulsa area. TA is working fine on mine, my dads and my sisters Roamios with Cox.

I'm still down. Cox has no interest in providing updates which is getting frustrating

Well it took a week, but they finally fixed it. Very annoying problem. Luckily I could find the missed shows on various streaming apps, but still. Hope this does not happen again.

New tuning adapters with updated firmware seems to be the fix. Honestly it's not going to kill me missing any TV but Cox's customer service on this issue was a complete shitshow
