    Hey Folks

    So I dont know where else to post this ...and since this is the only forums that I really visit that may find it instresting ...if anything its documented now

    So I have a Samsung 8000 series TV and I have two Tivo's hooked up to it ...any way today I decided to just put in the coax cable straight to it (via a splieter) to see what channels I may get

    It finds a bunch of channels to no surprise and then I come across channel 129-6

    And here is what it has

    Red hat linux Release 9 (Shrike)
    kernel 2.4.24 on i686

    TucsonEAS login: vw2010: init_module() fails.
    SeaI/O Digital I0 driver $Revision: 1.44 $
    vu2010: init_module() fails.
    SeaI/O Digital I0 driver $Revision: 1.44 $
    vu2010: init_module() fails.
    SeaI/O Digital I0 driver $Revision: 1.44 $
    vu2010: init_module() fails.

    I don't know if its suppose to be vw or vu for the 1st line or the other lines with 2010

    any way thought it may be interesting to share with yall.

    From what I can find, the VW2010 is an MPEG-1/2/4 codec chip.

    Looks like some video server (TusconEAS) at Cox has crashed and is broadcasting that signal out on the channel? :cool: Weird. Maybe it's related to Wednesday's nationwide EAS test.

    Here in Hartford, Comcast has a channel that shows that too. It is related to EMS like the previous poster said. My Tivo also gets stuck on that channel for 30 min or so after each EAS event.
