I'm thinking about upgrading my current set-up because I'd like a little more storage and an extra tuner or two.

Right now I have a Premiere with an expanded hard drive (1T.) I also have a Terk Leap Frog which allows me to watch the Tivo in my bedroom as well.

If I get a Bolt or a Bolt+ will I still be able to use the Leap Frog?

Will I now need a Mini to watch in the other room?

    Thanks in advance...

The Bolt has 1 HDMI out only. No component or composit outputs. You'd have to get an HDMI splitter and then an HDMI to composit converter. Both are sold on Amazon.com.

What size and resolution TV do you have? You might be better off with a used lifetimed Roamio Basic. I'm putting a 3 TB drive into my Roamio basic. I don't like the hump in any of the Bolts but the black Bolt+ may eventually get me to open my wallet.

Just get a Mini and enjoy HD on the other TV also. For me personally the Bolt killer is the hardware limiting to two Streams. Additionally the Bolt+ while out had six tuners it dropped ATSC support and that's a deal breaker. Best option remains the Roamio OTA plus a Standalone TiVo Stream.
