Connection help

    I just upgraded my router to the Eero and I can't get my Tivo Mini to connect.

    The Eero has 2 ethernet ports: one is the modem and the other is a netgear switch. I have the main Tivo box and the Tivo mini both ethernet connected to the switch. They both can connect to the internet and both have IP addresses in the proper range of 192.168.4.x. But my Tivo Mini gives me an error message "the Family Room cannot be found. There may be a network connection problem. Some features may not be available."

    Any ideas? I used to have the Tivo box and the Tivo Mini plugged into the router but the Eero only has 2 slots.

    All my TiVo devices are plugged into switches so that shouldn't make any difference. Do a clear and delete on the mini and then run guided setup. Then do a net connect on the main box twice and that will likely fix it.
