Connection Failed Problem With Tivo Roamio

    I'm sure this is an issue with my network and not my Tivo, but I'm still not sure how to address it.

    My connection to the Tivo service keeps failing. My network is up, the Tivo can connect to it as it passes all the diagnostic tests, it just fails on the connection when it's downloading.

    Any suggestions?

    I had the same problem. My TiVo OTA was at 60% network signal strength. I installed a network extender near my TiVo and the signal strength improved to >95%. This solved my problem

    Do you have another network port that you could test it with?

    Signal is 100%, so that's not the issue.

    I ended rebooting the router, which seems to have solved the issue, which is odd, since every other device had no issues connecting.

    100% signal does not mean its not getting interfered with.

    It might help and almost certainly won't hurt to give that TiVo a fixed IP address.

    Go into Settings, Phone & Network.
