Oh.. they are in the new Star Trek movies, I guess. I think I watched the first one but didn't remember any cast members.

Funny story about that...in the original comic, Little Hughie was very clearly drawn to be Simon Pegg (and also had a very strong Scots accent). When Pegg himself found out (he's a huge geek and loves comics), he was delighted, much like Samuel L. Jackson when he found out he'd been drawn in as Nick Fury. But this was over a decade ago, and obviously Pegg is much too old to play Little Hughie. So it's a stroke-of-genius in-joke to have Pegg play Hughie's dad.

I really like the series. Now have to wait for next season, oh well.

Don't read unless you have seen the whole season...
So I was watching the final episode and wondering if Elizabeth Shue would reprise her role next season. Yikes!! I guess not.

How much will I be able to follow and understand without knowing anything about the source material?

I don't know what source material it is based on (book? Comics?) And I loved it.

It doesn't really stick very much to the comics, which are much more...intense, and much more...comic-booky insider baseball.

    But
She was already once imitated by that other supe they used to compromise the senator. Vought would definitely need to cover up her death, or at least need a little time to come up with an explanation. So we could still see Ms Shue again.

Just saw an interview of Quaid, Jr. and looked into this--looks very interesting. Although, alas, no Amazon Prime here--maybe I need to gift myself a month. :)

Until I read your post, I had no idea he was Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid's son. He's a talented actor, and I guess now I know why. :)

I think it was on Kimmel that I recently saw him, and he described watching, as an adult, his mother in "When Harry Met Sally" for the first time--explaining, how many kids want to watch their mother have an orgasm? After, he went to his mom crying, telling her that she was so good. :)

Wow, everything I'd read until now suggested it would drop in July. Bummer to have to wait until fall. :(

I figure everyone is trying to spread out their new stuff that got completed before the pandemic as long as they can since there’s going to be a big dry spell of new content.

That is a change for Amazon. Don't they usually drop the entire season at once?
