Advertisements Good Afternoon, I am looking into getting TIVO with my comcast (in Panama City FL). I got a rental DVR (Scientific Antlanta or something) that I really cant stand. I tried to set up 2 scheduled recordings and got a conflict. I contacted comcast and they said it wouldnt do 2 scheduled recordings (though it would according to them record 2 different channels at the same time). Between that and an AD on every page of the guide that you have to tab through when you are browsing is just too much for rented equipment. Anyway i was told (by comcast rep) that if i got a TIVO box there is no subscription service cost from TIVO as comcast has TIVO in my area. Does that make sense? It doesn't really sound right to me, has anyone else experienced this?
