My vote is that the forums be split by relevant product. Since the DTiVo and the CTiVo (Comcast TiVo) are different platforms with their own set of unique issues they should have unique forums.

For the record, I refer to that particular company as Comcrap. It's an endearing term that reflects their never-ending search for new lows in customer service and quality of their product.

You can have my DTiVos when you pry them from my cold, dead hand...or D* makes them doorstops...which ever happens first.

I agree. When the HDTiVo was introduced, it got its own forum. So the Comcast TiVo should also. However, be prepared to get questions asked in the wrong forum.

It appears that the latter is already underway. See 6.3e rebooting threads.

Please just leave this forum the way it is. In a few years it will just die out but I like it the way it is now.

Agreed. I like it the way it is... keep the Comcrap equipment separate from this, please.

Luckily all of my DTiVo boxes are zippered and locked to 6.2

Does the Comcast/Tivo unit have dual tuners the way my D-Tivo does?

The Motorola DVRs that the TiVo software is being run on has dual tuners.
