there's no need to check the individual shows at different websites, just go to an online guide like zap2it, and you'll find the times in one place.

You are also neglecting the fact that after you set up all these recordings, you will get a pile of unmarked recordings, so it is a pain to set up and a pain to watch.

Again, appreciate the suggestion, I used to set up manual recordings all the time when TiVo had an analog input and have a couple to get around some issues now. The solution is for TiVo to fix the guide data!

yes, i had about a half-dozen of recordings listed as 8am, 9pm, etc. when the change happens on a december monday following most fall/winter finales, though, i can't imagine there will be a large number. if they correct the guide info as quickly as they did ours, that is.

One work around, if you can stand SD recordings, is to edit your one pass to record SD. They didn’t mess with the channel line up below 1000. But then once they get their act together you must change them all back.

I haven't figured out Hydra for SD content. If I play Bolt SD recordings on my Premiere I get lower res full screen when I play SD on the Bolt I get a small box with black panels above/below & left/right. I am sure I am missing something simple here...

I’m not sure what you have going on with your specific setup, but maybe a simple “zoom” setting on the tv itself can stretch the image both ways to fill all available real estate on the screen?

I have Bolt set to Auto Video Resolution, but the Bolt displays SD in this box on any resolution I force, even 420p (which makes for a very ugly Hydra)
Both the Bolt and Premiere are connected to the same 4K LG testing on the same HDMI input so TV settings are the same.

The Zoom feature of the LG is useful but annoying as it bounces around the bottom of the screen the current zoom %.

I've had the same problem as everyone else and was given a bandaid by Tivo for the time being. I was told to repeat guided set-up, but instead of using my actual zip code and Comcast Nashville to use 37027 and select Comcast Winchester/Franklin as the cable provider. I haven't checked all the channels yet, but of the few random ones I have checked, it seems to be working properly and what is stated on the guide is the channel and show that is actually on that channel. Hope that helps for now!

Update:. I have received an email from TiVo stating my lineup has been corrected... Forcing connection and long loading time in progress... I'll post my final result later.

As others have noted, it's been exactly two days since my lineup error report to TiVo, so that appears to be an accurate time for correction....

The fix is out and it works! Just perform a manual TiVo service connection. Yay!

You don't have to go researching individual shows per network website as web versions of the old TVGuide exist (including TVGuide's version).

I have considered what I suggested (used it) and it's not hard. And if I had the choice between missing recordings while the issue was being resolved and scheduling a few shows manually, I would certainly set up manual recordings. Luckily for us our Comcast conversion to the new national listings was non-impactful as we didn't have any channels above 1000 so our existing 1P were not impacted. I didn't even know the new channels were available until the message popped up about added channels.

Update: As TargetYou states, lineup change for Nashville, TN is a success. All channels accounted for and working, guide data populated. HOWEVER, not sure if its laziness or just complete incompetence, but Rovi/Tivo asked me, the customer, to do their job for them and send them the Comcast lineup for Nashville when starting this, which we all know they have access to, as they provide the damn guide we pay for. In their infinite stupidity, they left all the old channels that clearly are NOT in the Comcast lineup in the channel map....leaving me to go thru the guide and see which ones were not active....thankfully I did this at the same time I was making sure all the channels were coming thru. But come on....you have the lineup....yet left the old channels in the list....

    Just. Insane.

I completely agree with your statement. I have been with Tivo for the past four years and never experienced this type of problem. I am appalled at the way Tivo resolved this issue (partially). Has it always been like this with Tivo or did it start once Rovi purchased Tivo?

Apparently, from what I've read here and elsewhere, it was predicted customer service/knowledge of issues would decline once Rovi took over... And it appears to be correct. This is my first major issue with TiVo and the first since Rovi took over and impressed I am not. Issues i had when TiVo was TiVo were handled within hours and they were on it.
