Will mfstools 3.2 copy a larger source drive to a smaller destination drive as long as the data size on the larger is less than the capacity of the smaller destination? I have a 1tb upgrade in my Bolt and I have the 500gb original that I replaced. I want to backup everything on the 1tb but recordings to the 500gb and use it as a ready to go drop in replacement in case of a 1tb failure, My goal is to clone everything but recordings to the 500gb. Repairing the cable card with Spectrum is a nightmare and I'd like to avoid it if possible. Thanks

Yes. mfscopy -s /dev/sdX /dev/sdY where sdX is the source and sdY is the target. Should get everything but the recordings.
